History of Prototype:
This 1:48-scale (approximate) LEGO® model represents the 1,189 cars built to TTX Class XGH61B between February and November 2016 (TBOX 663810-664998), followed by another 6,461 cars to the same class type (TBOX 638000-644460), which were completed by September 2021.
The cars were assembled in Ciudad Sahagún, Mexico, at a leased section of the Bombardier passenger car/light rail facility, with the majority of components being sourced in the U.S. They were initially branded as built by Gunderson Concarril, but this changed to Greenbrier Sahagún in 2019.
We hope our LEGO® replica will find a home on your layout’s rails!
